Korach asks Moshe:
"Why do you set yourselves above the L-rds assembly"?
This is exactly where Korach is mistaken.
As we learned this week in our chaburahs: a true eved Hashem (servant of Hashem) empties herself out, to be a vessel that can sense a connection to Hashem and allow Hashem to flow through her.
In fact, the concept of a leader of the Jewish people is actually a servant of Hashem, one who empties himself out so that "he can be a mere vehicle through which the Divine force flowed".
Hence, Moshe is the humblest of all men; A true leader in Klal Yisrael puts himself to the bottom and puts Hashem above.
May we be zoche to learn from Moshe Rabbeinu and to live this way, as a true eved Hashem.
